We recognize that COVID-19 and how it affects businesses and our personal life is complicated. Here's a simple breakdown of what it means for Kenmore Coffee Company and you, our wonderful friends.
We're a remote-first business. This means we don't have a dedicated office space and work from wherever we may and are able. We're all healthy and our partner roaster has offered assurance they are following all the necessary steps and guidelines to keep their staff safe as well.
Shipping continues as scheduled and orders are picked up by the carrier daily.
Above all else, please make sure to take care of yourself and your family first. We'll be here.
Doing Our Part
According to The Arbor Day Foundation, one pound of roasted coffee results in 11 pounds of CO2 in total, from harvesting, to transportation, to roasting, to consumption.
Our goal is to offset the carbon output from the entire chain. To kick it off, we've partnered with the Tri-City Forest Project to help offset up to 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year.
Does this cost me anything?
Not at all! We're footing the bill for this one. If you'd like to donate extra to the project, click here.
Will my shipping speed be affected?
Nope! Everything else stays the same.
I don't want my order to be carbon neutral. Can I opt out?
Will my information be shared with anyone?
Negative. Your info stays here. We automatically make a donation to the project when your order is placed and that's it.
Is there a way to see how much carbon has been offset?
We're working on it. :) You're always free to shoot us an email and ask, in the meantime. While we work that out, we're manually updating this page, so keep an eye out up top. 👆🏻
